1. Our approach
Accessibility is an ongoing part of design, content, testing, and maintenance. We aim to remove barriers without sacrificing the clear explanations, comparison tools, forms, and visual presentation that help dealers and auto lenders evaluate CPI programs.
2. Current website features
- A skip link that moves keyboard users directly to the main content.
- Semantic headings, landmarks, lists, links, buttons, labels, and descriptive page titles.
- Visible keyboard focus styles and ordinary crawlable links for essential navigation.
- Alternative text for meaningful website images and decorative treatment for images that do not add information.
- Responsive layouts intended to remain usable on desktop, tablet, and mobile screens.
- Reduced animation when a visitor’s device requests reduced motion.
- Descriptive link text, visible breadcrumbs, and in-page navigation on longer guides.
3. Forms and third-party content
The CPI program-review form and some linked resources are provided by third parties. Those services maintain their own accessibility practices and may behave differently from the ACP website. If the embedded form creates a barrier, call or email us and we will provide another reasonable way to begin the business conversation.
4. Report an accessibility barrier
If you cannot access part of the site, call (832) 389-2948 or email contactautocap@gmail.com. Please identify the page, the task you were trying to complete, and the problem you encountered. You do not need to send borrower, account, insurance-policy, or other sensitive consumer information.
We can discuss a CPI program review by phone or help identify another way to access the public business information you need.
5. Continued review
We review accessibility as the website changes and prioritize issues that block navigation, understanding, form completion, or contact. This statement describes our current approach and is not a claim that every page, embedded service, browser, or assistive-technology combination is free of every barrier.
